Privacy policy
Last updated 12 October 2026
GridPup shows GPU rental prices from cloud providers. You can use it without an account, and we collect very little about you. Logging in is optional. This page explains exactly what, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who is responsible
GridPup (“we”, “us”) runs gridpup.com and is responsible for the personal data described here. For any privacy question or request, email [email protected].
What we collect
When you send us a message
The contact form asks for your name, email address, what your message is about, the message itself, and optionally your company. We use this only to read and answer your message.
To stop spam, we also store a one-way scrambled code made from your internet connection's address. We cannot turn it back into the address. We use it only to limit how many messages one connection can send in an hour.
When you log in
Logging in is optional; every page works without it. You log in with your email address, or with your Google or GitHub account. With email, we send a one-time code to your address to check it is yours; there is no password. With Google or GitHub, that company sends us your name, email address, profile picture, and an account number, and we never see or store your Google or GitHub password. We use these details only to know it is you, to show your name in the header, and to keep one account per email address, so logging in with different methods under the same address reaches the same account.
Your account is kept by Amazon Cognito, Amazon Web Services' sign-in service, which stores those details on our behalf. While you are logged in, your browser keeps a sign-in cookie that only gridpup.com can read; it lasts up to 30 days or until you log out. Sign-in codes are sent by Amazon's email service from gridpup.com. If you log in with Google or GitHub, your profile picture is loaded from them, which may see your internet address when it loads.
When you add credit
Payments are handled by Dodo Payments. You enter your card or other payment details on Dodo's checkout, not on gridpup.com, and we never see your full card number. We share your name and email address with Dodo to set up your customer record, and Dodo tells us the payment's amount, tax and status so we can add the credit. Dodo processes your payment details under its own privacy policy. We keep your balance, top-ups and machine charges for as long as your account exists, and longer where tax or accounting law requires.
When you browse
We do not use advertising cookies. We set a sign-in cookie only if you log in, and analytics cookies only if you accept them (see below). If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is saved in your own browser and never sent to us.
Like any website, the servers that deliver gridpup.com receive technical details with each request, such as your internet address, browser type, and the page you asked for. These are kept in server logs for security and to keep the site running, for no longer than 30 days.
When you click “Visit”
“Visit” links go through gridpup.com before reaching the cloud provider. We count each click with the provider, the GPU and offer you were looking at, the part of the page, and the time. We do not record who you are or your internet address with it. The link also tells the provider that you came from GridPup and from which part of the site (for example, the H100 offers table), and nothing about you. Some of these links include our referral code; see the terms. Once you reach the provider's site, its own privacy policy applies.
When you use the model viewer
The model viewer opens model files inside your browser. The file is never uploaded to us or anyone else. If you open a model from a web address, your browser downloads it straight from that address, and that site may see your internet address. Viewer settings are saved in your own browser.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people use. Until you accept analytics cookies in the banner, it sets no cookies and Google receives only anonymous signals without identifiers. If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies that recognise your browser across visits, and Google processes your internet address and browser details to produce reports for us. We do not use it for advertising and do not share it with advertisers. Your choice is saved in your own browser.
Cloud provider logos
Price tables show each cloud provider's logo, loaded from that provider's own website. Your browser contacts those sites to fetch the image, so they may see your internet address under their own privacy policies.
What we do not collect
The prices on GridPup come from cloud providers' systems and are not personal data. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with anyone for their marketing.
How long we keep it
- Contact messages: up to 24 months, then deleted automatically.
- The spam-limiting code: kept with the message and deleted with it.
- Your account (name, email address, picture): until you ask us to delete it.
- The sign-in cookie: up to 30 days, or until you log out.
- Server logs: up to 30 days.
- Visit-click counts: kept as statistics; they contain no personal data.
Who else handles it
We use service providers to host the site and store data, including Amazon Web Services for accounts (Amazon Cognito), Dodo Payments for payments, and Google for analytics (only as described above). They process it only on our instructions, except that Dodo, as merchant of record, also follows its own legal duties for payments and tax. We will only disclose personal data to others when the law requires it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to stop using it. Email [email protected] from the address you wrote to us with, or the address on your account, and we will answer within 30 days. Deleting your account removes it from Amazon Cognito. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
GridPup is a tool for businesses and developers and is not meant for anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect, for example by adding analytics, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
